Mark obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts in 2005, from University of Guelph. In 2006, he completed his Masters of Arts degree, at Brock University. Both undergraduate and graduate degrees were completed specializing in English Literature. Mark completed his Juris Doctor Degree in 2011, at Queen’s University.

Mark has over a decade of experience in civil litigation, advocating on behalf of both the plaintiff and defendant. With over 40 reported decisions to his name, Mark is a well-seasoned litigator. Although he has spent some time in general civil litigation practice, and explored other areas of civil litigation, the majority of his practice has been devoted to advocating on behalf of injured clients in Personal Injury litigation.

Mark has extensive experience litigating before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, as well as the Licence Appeal Tribunal (the “LAT”). He has appeared as lead-counsel for multiple jury trials before the Superior Court of Justice. He has also argued several hearings before the LAT, including multiple hearings where Catastrophic Impairment has been in dispute. Mark also has also argued multiple appeals before the appellate courts, including the Ontario Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

He has a keen interest in advocating for clients whose lives have been profoundly impacted by injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents, as well as other circumstances that have caused significant injury and disruption to their lives.
